Keith Grover, CPA
Keith earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He has been in public accounting for 21 years, and at Polk and Associates, PLC for 18 years. His expertise is in Real Estate accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of Polk and Associates, Keith has served as a board member and Treasurer of a private organization.
Heidi Lund, CPA, CGMA
Heidi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from The University of Michigan – Flint and a Master of Science in Finance with a specialization in corporate finance and financial services from Walsh College. She also attended undergraduate studies at Charles Stewart Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan and holds two undergraduate degrees. While at The University of Michigan-Flint, Heidi was actively involved in Beta Alpha Psi and was recognized with a Fromholz, Paauwe & Baker Scholarship as well as with the Dupuis & Ryden Accounting Achievement Award.
Heidi joined Polk and Associates in 1993 and has over 23 years of public accounting experience. She is the Director of Healthcare Services and her expertise is in healthcare consulting and business consulting for service industries as well as valuation services. Heidi also has a background in real estate accounting and tax issues and has been a QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2002. Heidi is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Heidi has also served as a Board member and Treasurer for a private organization.
Richard Williams, CPA, ABV, CGMA
Rick is the Director of our Attest, Valuation and Manufacturing services divisions and Managing Partner. Rick earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Michigan University. He has been in public accounting for 32 years specializing in Manufacturing and Healthcare valuation. Rick is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services section, ABA Health Care Services Section, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Medical Group Management Association. Rick has served on the executive and finance committees of several private and religious organizations.
Robert Bennett, Senior Audit Manager , CPA, CGMA
Robert earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from University of Windsor, Master of Arts in Political Science from University of Windsor, Master of Science in Accountancy from Walsh College. He is a member of AICPA, MICPA.
Robert joined Polk and Associates in 2012 and has worked in public accounting for 8 years. He has expertise in auditing and auditing of Housing Urban Development that meet the Governmental Auditing Standards; Reviews and Compilations.
James C. Zann, Senior Tax Manager, CPA, CVA
Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics from the University of Michigan, Dearborn and Ann Arbor campuses, and attended undergraduate studies in accounting at Wayne State University.
Jim is a Senior Manager at our St. Clair Shores office and works with individuals and businesses to develop effective tax strategies and provide consulting and valuation services as well as assist clients with their more traditional public accounting attest needs.
Jim is a member of the Michigan Association of Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). Jim has served on various committees in the valuation area and has over 20 years in public accounting.
Brenda Blosser, Director of Firm Management, AAAPM
Brenda joined Polk and Associates, PLC in 2013. As the Director of Firm Management, she is focused on the ongoing development of efficient and effective best practices for the firm. Her expertise is in the areas of firm management and operations, strategic planning, database management, and human resources. She has extensive experience in supervision of administrative support, employee development and mentoring.
Prior to joining Polk and Associates, Brenda was a Regional Administrative Manager with a local public accounting firm for 13 years. Prior to her public accounting experience, she worked in the automotive industry in the areas of client relations, employee relations and recruitment for Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, General Motors and Arvin Meritor. Brenda attended Northwood University, is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), VSHRM, CPA Firm Management Association (CPAFMA), and is a member of the MICPA.
